Lost/Stolen/Damaged rental Policy

If your rental is lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, contact us immediately at peacecenters@gmail.com. We will work with you to find the best solution. Each rental in the shop has a replacement value that is listed on the description of the product. Most of the items in the rental shop are used and have depreciated in value. That value was determined at the time the item was added to the lending library and is based on the average of 3 similar new products in online retail giants.

If your rental cannot be repaired or found, we will typically charge your account 60% of the replacement value of the item. However, if we can find a used replacement for less, we will only bill you for the exact price, and we will send you a copy of the receipt. You can also find a replacement for the lost or damaged item of equal quality and value, and then we will close the ticket without additional charge.

For select fragile, expensive and/or expensive items, you will be responsible for up to 100% of the replacement value in the event of loss or  or damage beyond repair. If we can find a new replacement for less, we will only bill you for the exact price paid and we will send you a copy of the receipt. You can also find a replacement which we agree is of equal quality and value, and then we will close the ticket without additional charge. All of these items will be clearly labeled if they fit into this category, and you will need to sign an additional waiver for these products.

Refund for Returns or Exchanges

For Rentals we have a 48 hour exchange/return policy. If the item you rent is not working or is incomplete you must notify us within 48 hours of picking it up to get a refund or a replacement. There must be a valid reason for the exchange or return.

For purchases we have a 30-day exchange/return policy.  To be eligible for an exchange/return, your item must be in the same condition as you received it. To start an exchange, you can contact us at peacecenters@gmail.com.  

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we may not accept returns or exchanges on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
